I was booked to provide the evening DJ entertainment for a 50th birthday party at Gravesend Conservative Club, setting up the sound and lighting ready for the celebrations.

A 50th birthday is always a great opportunity to play music from across the decades, combining familiar classics with more recent party favourites and adapting the music throughout the evening to suit the guests.

As the party got underway, the atmosphere continued to build and the focus moved towards the dance floor.

As with every event, I kept an eye on what the guests were enjoying and adjusted the music throughout the night to keep people dancing.

Birthday parties often bring together a wide range of ages and musical tastes, so having plenty of variety is important. The aim is always to find those recognisable tracks that bring everyone together and keep the celebration moving.

It was a really enjoyable 50th birthday party to DJ and another great Kent venue to add to the growing list of places where I’ve provided entertainment.
