My Story – DJing at Shamrock Social Club
Performing at Shamrock Social Club was a great example of how important flexibility can be as a DJ. On this occasion, a live band entertained guests earlier in the evening before it was time for a quick changeover and the start of the disco.
Working closely with the venue team, I had everything prepared in advance so the transition from live music to DJ entertainment could happen smoothly. Once the dance floor opened, the music was carefully tailored to suit the crowd, creating the right balance between classic favourites and modern party tracks.
One of the highlights of the evening was seeing guests of all ages enjoying the dance floor together. The music ranged from popular Irish country classics through to disco, singalong favourites, and party anthems, helping to keep the atmosphere lively throughout the night.
